Originally from Salisbury, NC, Melinda earned her B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences and Music at Furman University in Greenville, SC. In the Biomedical Visualization M.S. program at the University of Illinois Chicago, Melinda blended her unique interests in art, science, and music to create pieces that both inform and inspire.
