Originally from Salisbury, NC, Melinda earned her B.S. degree in Biomedical Sciences and Music at Furman University in Greenville, SC. As a Biomedical Visualization M.S. candidate at the University of Illinois Chicago, Melinda has blended her unique interests in art, science, and music to create pieces that both inform and inspire.
